  2. Alt text on all images — descriptive, under 125 characters, includes the dish name
  3. Mobile PageSpeed score above 50 — test at PageSpeed Insights
  4. Meta title under 60 characters — so it doesn't get truncated in search results
  5. Meta description under 155 characters — compelling, includes your main keyword
  6. Heading hierarchy is correct — one H1 per page, H2s under it, H3s under those (no skipping)
  7. Internal links to 5+ related recipes — per post, using descriptive anchor text
  8. No broken links on your top 10 posts — check with a free tool like Dead Link Checker
  9. Images in WebP or AVIF format — not uncompressed PNGs or massive JPEGs
  10. Author bio and About page exist — Google's E-E-A-T guidelines reward trust signals
